Families

If you have a family gathering or group of friends wanting to experience a fun activity day together, look no further!

We can advise you on suitable activities for your group whatever their age and ability.

One group had a brilliant family day doing Rafted Canoeing and Archery with the youngest being 2 and the oldest 92!

Another family chose tandem canoeing on Loch Morlich followed by a superb bike ride from Glenmore Forest to Rothiemurchus taking in Lochan Eilein en route

Diane had a get together of family and friends at a large holiday home where we were able to set up Archery for them.

Schools, Youth Groups and other Organisations

We offer adventurous activities for schools and youth groups whatever age and ability as half days, evenings or full days with the emphasis on you all having a great time! We will coach the necessary skills for everyone to enjoy the activity in a safe, environmentally friendly way, often involving lots of team work and responsibility. We like to encourage the group members to have the confidence to make decisions for themselves and help others too.

One school likes to have a programme of Archery, Indoor climbing, Biking and Abseiling.

Key Housing love Orienteering in Glenmore Forest followed by a few Team Challenges then a day of Rafted Canoeing and Archery

Crossreach bring four wheelchair users to us every year for a day of Archery and Rockets and another of Rafted Canoeing.

Shared lives have a brilliant fun packed day and evening of Fun Challenges, Archery, Rafted Canoeing and Indoor Climbing with us whilst staying at Glenmore Lodge in June. Then in November we go to them at Parkmore in Dufftown with more exciting things for them to do.

Corporate Groups

Choosing the right activities can be tricky for many corporate groups as there is usually a vast range of ability within the group, you may even have people who do not like doing adventurous things. We can help you put together a programme which will fit in with what you want to achieve and keep everyone happy and engaged. Team Challenges are an excellent way of involving everyone and breaking the ice within the group. We can facilitate them in a way that will be acceptable to everyone and give opportunities for people to work together or help to bring our leadership skills. Maybe you need to bring together a team of people who are fairly new to each other, this activity is excellent for that. All the other activities we offer can be used to develop confidence, leadership skills, self awareness as well as new skills.

Sport Scotland often bring a variety of groups to us for activities that will help people who work together as a team but not in the same office and need a bit of time together, so Team Challenges and Archery are particular useful for this.

Another corporate group wanted to test out their ability to work together under stress before competing in a Triathlon so again they chose some Team Challenges followed by Orienteering by bike and canoe to find out each other’s physical strengths and weaknesses.

Many corporate groups opt for an ascent of Ben Nevis as this has a big impact on a team of people as they prepare for it by training as a group beforehand, maybe raising money for charity, then having the support of each other on the actual summit day, it makes for a well bonded group!
