Climbing and abseiling are exciting and adventurous activities to take part in. Moving on rock whilst feeling the security of a rope is a stimulating thing to do. Some people say it is like vertical chess as you think through moves before making them, for others it is just the thrill of being able to climb rock without the fear of falling.
As well as the fun of climbing and abseiling, we like to give you the opportunity to learn the skills of belaying.
Indoor climbing is a good way of being introduced to climbing and we have many people who like to do this as part of an activity day.
We are spoilt for choice for excellent rock climbing venues in the Highlands for instance, there is great climbing and abseiling at Benny Beag near Crieff where we love to take small groups. Recently we helped a group of family and friends have a great day celebrating a birthday there, taking a break midway to enjoy tea and cake at the adjacent Garden Centre Cafe!
Creag Beag overlooking the Kingussie golf Course is an excellent local venue as it is a really pleasant place to be and the climbing is fun. We have had many groups of BB’s, Scouts, families etc here.
