A booking is provisionally accepted upon receipt of a completed and signed booking form together with the appropriate non-refundable deposit. The booking is confirmed once full payment has been received. Separate invoices for deposit and balance payments will be issued as required. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
We reserve the right to cancel bookings should the minimum course participant criteria not be met or if the chosen activity cannot be run safely due to external factors such as unsuitable weather. In either case, an alternative activity, date or full refund will be offered.
If you cancel the booking within three weeks of the date of the activity and your place cannot be filled, you will be liable for the full cost of the activity.
All participants must declare their fitness, existing injuries and medical conditions when booking. We always check this on the day in case anything has changed.
There will always be some risk involved in outdoor activities. These inherent risks cannot be removed without destroying the nature of the activity. We aim to reduce the risk to the lowest tolerable level consistent with the nature of the activity. By booking with us you are agreeing to comply with the safety guidelines and procedures explained to you during the safety brief we give before starting the activity.
Outdoor activities can be dangerous and can result in death or injury and participants must be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions. We hold public liability insurance but recommend that you have your own accident and cancellation insurance cover. Personal belongings are carried at participants own risk and we cannot take responsibility for any loss or damage.
Damage to any of our equipment due to negligence on the part of a participant will be chargeable.
